The first-ever apparel partnership between the sportswear brand and the band coincides with a 24-show run starting Oct. 1.
Adidas Originals is launching its first-ever collaboration with Metallica on Sept. 30, releasing an apparel capsule tied to the band’s “Life Burns Faster” residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas. The 24-show residency runs from Oct. 1 through March 13, 2027, and features Metallica’s “No Repeat Weekend” approach with unique setlists every Thursday and Saturday. Priced between $40 and $120, the men’s, women’s, and kids’ collection combines the adidas Trefoil logo with residency graphics across T-shirts, hoodies, long-sleeve tees, tank tops, and crewneck sweatshirts, with select pieces available exclusively at The Sphere.
The partnership extends beyond merch, offering fans chances to win tickets and signed gear for five shows via adiClub and the CONFIRMED app. A residency pop-up shop operating Wednesday through Sunday during the first two weeks will feature the “Black Box” interactive experience with memorabilia and exhibits. Additional residency events include a cigar collaboration with Drew Estate, a Red Cross blood drive sponsored by Delta Air Lines, and inKind dining offers. Outside of the residency, Metallica is scheduled to perform two anniversary shows at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, and will embark on a 12-date 2027 North American tour alongside Limp Bizkit and Avatar.
