Alice Cooper might be reuniting with his original bandmates for a new album after the success of *The Revenge of Alice Cooper*, which was released in July. While on tour, Cooper shared this exciting news. The last album from this lineup was *Muscle of Love*, released back in 1973. *The Revenge of Alice Cooper* made a strong impact, reaching No. 6 on the Vinyl Albums chart.
During the Too Close For Comfort tour with Judas Priest and Corrosion of Conformity, Cooper expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “I think we’ll probably do another album. I can’t see why we wouldn’t. This one did so well, we might as well do another one.” This new project would bring together Cooper with his longtime collaborators: pianist and vocalist Michael Bruce, bassist Dennis Dunaway, and drummer Neal Smith. They plan to include computer-generated parts from the late guitarist Glen Buxton. Bob Ezrin may return as producer, but nothing is set in stone yet.
On tour, Cooper is mixing classic hits like “Spark in the Dark,” “House of Fire,” “Dirty Diamonds,” “Poison,” “I’m Eighteen,” “School’s Out,” “Who Do You Think We Are,” and “Dangerous Tonight.” The tour will wrap up with a final stop in Houston.
Cooper has a good relationship with Judas Priest and even hosted a British high tea for them backstage. His band also paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne by performing Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid” after his passing. Coming up, they will play Cooper’s Christmas Pudding show on November 15 in Phoenix, with proceeds supporting the Solid Rock Foundation’s teen centers. After that, they’ll head to Germany in December and continue touring Europe in January. Stay tuned for more updates!
