Amy Winehouse’s parents have accepted the BRIT Billion Award on her behalf, which marks one billion streams in the U.K.

Her parents, Mitch and Janis, said: “We of course wish that Amy was here today accepting this award in person, but it’s amazing that she is still winning awards for her incredible talent and achievements. It’s wonderful that her music is being discovered by new audiences of young people who love it just as much as her contemporaries. We are so proud of Amy. Thank you.”

The award was presented following the U.K. release of the biopic Back to Black. Sam Taylor-Johnson directed the film, which will be released in the U.S. on May 17.

Back in February, to coincide with the  February  release of the Picture Disc Edition of FrankAmy Winehouse’s highly influential debut album, UMR/Island made a lyric video available for one of the album’s standout tracks, “In My Bed.”

Whilst cataloging archive material in the lead up to the 20th Anniversary of Frank, previously unseen rushes from the original video shoot for “In My Bed” were discovered. This wonderful footage reveals a truly remarkable, supremely talented songwriter and singer who would become one of the greatest artists of our time.

For the first time, Amy fans around the world can celebrate the lyrics of “In My Bed” by experiencing the lyric videos translated to local languages French, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.

The double vinyl Picture Disc edition of Frank features the singles “Take The Box,” “Stronger Than Me,” “F**k Me Pumps,” and “In My Bed,” and is housed in a gatefold sleeve. The picture disc artwork uses the original classic sleeve imagery on LP 1, while LP 2 features two beautiful images, taken by renowned photographer Valerie Phillips, from the original artwork photo session, shot in 2003.
