Last year, Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli celebrated his 30th anniversary as a performing artist with three amazing concerts. On November 14, he will release *The Celebration: 30th Anniversary*, which brings together highlights from these shows, blending opera, classical, and pop music.
Filmed at the Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico over three nights in 2024, this special event features Bocelli performing in his beloved Tuscany alongside a star-studded lineup. The collection includes collaborations with Ed Sheeran on “Perfect Symphony,” Shania Twain with “From This Moment On,” Russell Crowe for “Take This Waltz,” and many more. Other notable guests include Lang Lang, Lauren Daigle, Johnny Depp, Will Smith, Brian May, and Jon Batiste.
This 2-disc package includes two shows: “The Celebration” and “30 Years of Musical Inspiration,” totaling over 4.5 hours of performances. The Deluxe Edition features both shows on 2 DVDs and 2 Blu-rays, all housed in a beautiful 12”x12” hardback photo book.
The concerts showcased stunning staging, including a remarkable sundial centerpiece on a lake and 500 drones lighting up the sky. Bocelli was joined by an 80-piece orchestra and over 200 musicians, including family and friends like Matteo Bocelli and Placido Domingo.
Bocelli expressed his joy, saying, “Celebrating my 30th anniversary at Teatro del Silenzio, a place so dear to me, with artists and friends was an honor.” He played a key role in creating the Teatro del Silenzio in his hometown. Recently, he also headlined the historic Grace for the World Concert at St. Peter’s Square in The Vatican.
