A new box set featuring the complete discography of Heaven & Hell, the Black Sabbath offshoot, is set to be released on March 27. Titled “Breakout Out of Heaven 2007-2009,” this collection includes their only studio album, 2009’s “The Devil You Know,” along with two live albums. These live recordings were made during their performances at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall in 2007 and the Wacken festival in Germany in 2009.
Heaven & Hell brought together original Black Sabbath members Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler, along with legendary vocalist Ronnie James Dio and drummer Vinny Appice. This lineup previously recorded the albums “Mob Rules” in 1981 and “Dehumanizer” in 1992. Sadly, Heaven & Hell disbanded after Dio’s passing in 2010.
In other news, the “Rock for Ronnie” concert, honoring Ronnie James Dio, will take place on May 31, 2026, in Los Angeles. Lita Ford is set to headline the event. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund.
