Announcement of documentary on late ex-Iron Maiden vocalist Paul Di’Anno

A new documentary about the late Paul Di’Anno, the former singer of Iron Maiden, is on the way. Titled *Di’Anno: Iron Maiden’s Lost Singer*, it will be released this summer by Cleopatra Entertainment. The film will feature appearances from big names like James Hetfield of Metallica, Gene Simmons from KISS, and Iron Maiden’s founder, Steve Harris.

Director Wes Orshoski aims to create a unique rock documentary. Di’Anno was the voice behind Iron Maiden’s first two albums: their self-titled debut in 1980 and *Killers* in 1981. He left the band in 1981 and was succeeded by Bruce Dickinson, who is the current lead vocalist.

In his later years, Di’Anno faced several health challenges. A crowdfunding campaign by fans helped him move to Croatia for treatment. Orshoski noted that during this time, “fans and doctors gave him the hope he was desperately searching for.”

Sadly, Paul Di’Anno passed away in October 2024 at the age of 66. This documentary promises to honor his legacy and share his story with fans around the world.
