Anthrax has wrapped up their latest studio album and filmed a music video. Guitarist Scott Ian shared the news on Saturday, December 20, saying, “Album is done. First video is shot. Thank you all for braving the cold with us to make something killer! A great day for all of us!” He also hinted that fans can expect more from the band in 2026.
The new album is set to be released in early 2026. Megaforce will handle distribution in North America, while Nuclear Blast will take care of Europe. The mixing took place at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 in Northridge, California, with producer Jay Ruston leading the project. This is Ruston’s third time working with Anthrax, following their albums For All Kings in 2016 and Worship Music in 2011.
In addition to the album, Anthrax will hit the road with Megadeth and Exodus for a Canadian tour starting on February 15, 2026, in Victoria, British Columbia. The tour will also stop in Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Ottawa before wrapping up in early March. Fans can look forward to festival appearances in Europe, as well as shows in Australia and Japan later in 2026.
