Anthrax has released a new song called “The Edge of Perfection.” It comes from their upcoming album Cursum Perficio. The track runs nearly seven minutes. Guitarist Scott Ian calls it “the apex predator of Anthrax songs” and says it’s the best song the band has ever written.
You can listen to “The Edge of Perfection” and watch its video on YouTube. Cursum Perficio is Anthrax’s 12th album and their first in 10 years. It arrives Sept. 18 and also includes the single “It’s For the Kids.”
Anthrax will tour North America with Iron Maiden and Megadeth starting in September.
