Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante will be missing some shows due to an injury to his right hand. He shared the news on Instagram, explaining that he needs to take a break to let his hand heal properly. Benante will be out until at least July 4, when the band performs in Spain. During his absence, drummer Darby Todd will fill in.
Benante expressed his gratitude for Todd stepping in and said he is focused on recovering. He looks forward to returning to the stage soon and appreciates the support from fans. He is expected to be back for a show in Portugal on July 7. After that, Anthrax will kick off a North American tour with Iron Maiden and Megadeth starting in September.
