The legendary Dutch death doom elite band ASPHYX will release their tenth full-length studio album Necroceros on January 22, 2021 viaCentury Media Records.
Today, the band has shared the new song “Knights Templar Stand.” Watch the lyric video and listen here.
“It’s a mainly very heavy uptempo track about the Knights Templar battling bravely in the Levant,” says vocalist Martin van Drunen. “Outnumbered by many, standing their ground until the very end. A typical ASPHYX song in our well-known neck-breaking metal style and fashion.”

Necroceros was recorded at Tom Meier Studio as well as at Paul Baayens’ The Mörserstudio, and then finally mixed/mastered by Sebastian “Seeb” Levermann at Greenman Studios. The album features cover art by Axel Hermann.
