Avenged Sevenfold Delays Latin American Tour Following M. Shadows’ Vocal Injury

Avenged Sevenfold has postponed their Latin American tour until January 2026. The tour was set to kick off in Buenos Aires on September 25. The band announced the delay due to a vocal fold hematoma affecting lead singer M. Shadows. They expressed their regret, saying, “With a heavy heart, we have to announce that we’ve made the necessary decision to push our tour to early next year. We promise to come back stronger than ever. Your tickets will still be valid for the rescheduled shows. Thank you for your understanding, love, and support.”

M. Shadows developed this medical issue after performing at the Louder Than Life festival. This is the second time he has faced this condition; over 20 years ago, it required surgery. Fortunately, doctors caught it early this time, and with rest and care, he should recover fully. However, this means he will need weeks of silence followed by months of voice training.

Shadows apologized for the inconvenience to fans and the crew, hoping the new dates will help everyone adjust their plans. The decision to postpone was made to avoid further surgery and ensure a complete recovery. The tour will now include seven shows across six countries, including Buenos Aires, Santiago, Curitiba, Sao Paulo, Bogota, Mexico City, and San Juan. It’s been over a decade since the band last played in these cities.

Support act Mr. Bungle will still join the rescheduled dates. This tour supports Avenged Sevenfold’s 2023 album, *Life Is But A Dream*, which features singles like “Nobody” and “We Love You.” They also released the *Black Reign* EP on September 21, including the single “Mad Hatter.” Fans will need to hang tight until next year for the shows!
