Mike Dirnt from Green Day has teamed up with Epiphone to launch a new signature bass called the Mike Dirnt Grabber G-3. This bass is inspired by the original Gibson bass that Dirnt played while touring for Green Day’s first album, 39/Smooth, back in 1990.
Dirnt is excited about the Grabber G-3, saying, “This bass sounds every bit as good as my original. I can honestly say that, if not way better, because I just toured them for over two years and they performed like magic.”

In other news, Green Day recently released their latest album, Saviors, in 2024. They also celebrated the 25th anniversary of their 2000 album, Warning, with a special reissue that came out last Friday.
