The BBC documentary, *Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home*, was set to air today, August 18, but it was pulled just hours before its scheduled time. A BBC spokesperson stated, “The film has moved in the schedules, and we’ll confirm new transmission details in due course.”
This one-hour documentary covers Ozzy’s life from 2002 to 2025, focusing on his and Sharon Osbourne’s move from the U.S. to their home in Buckinghamshire. It also highlights Ozzy’s health struggles and his preparations for his final performance.
Originally titled *Home to Roost*, the documentary was first announced in 2022. However, the focus shifted as Ozzy’s health changed. When the project was about their return to the UK, the couple shared their reasons for leaving California after nearly 40 years. Sharon expressed her disappointment, saying, “California is not what it once was. When I first came here, I thought I was in heaven. In the ‘70s, if you loved music, this was the place to be. It’s not that hub anymore. It’s not exciting anymore. It’s dangerous here. I don’t feel safe here. Neither does Ozzy.”
Ozzy had a different take, saying, “To be honest with you, if I had my way, I’d stay in America. I’m American now… I don’t want to go back. F— that.”
Fans are eagerly waiting for the new air date of *Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home*, as it promises to give an intimate look at the life of the legendary rocker. Stay tuned for updates!
