Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz from the Beastie Boys is set to appear in a new Netflix movie called *Time Out*, starring Adam Sandler. The film is inspired by a 2001 French movie, *L’Emploi du temps*.
In *Time Out*, Sandler plays Vince, a man who has just lost his job but can’t bring himself to tell his wife and family. Instead of being honest, he starts telling lies to cover up his situation. Things get even more complicated when he creates a fake investment scheme and asks his friends for money. As his lies pile up, Vince’s life and family start to fall apart.
The cast also features Willem Dafoe, Gaby Hoffmann, F. Murray Abraham, and Steve Zahn. A release date for the movie hasn’t been announced yet.
Ad-Rock isn’t new to acting; he has appeared in films like *While We’re Young* and *Golden Exits*. Fans of both the Beastie Boys and Adam Sandler will want to keep an eye out for this one!
