The 2026 Rock for Ronnie concert raised $125,000 for cancer research. This event honored the late Ronnie James Dio, who passed away in 2010 from stomach cancer. The funds will go to the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund, created in his memory.
The concert took place on May 31 in Los Angeles and featured Lita Ford as the headliner. There was also an auction with signed instruments from Ford, Black Sabbath’s Geezer Butler, and George Thorogood.
In addition to the concert, the Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund organizes the annual Bowl for Ronnie charity bowling tournament, which is set to return on November 12.
