Billie Eilish Stars In Amazon Music’s First ‘Songline’ Episode Will Schube

Billie Eilish is the star of the first episode of Amazon Music’s “Songline,” a docuseries that highlights the songwriting process and the stories behind the music. On episode one, Billie and her brother FINNEAS break down tracks from her third album, Hit Me Hard And Soft.

In episode one, Eilish and Finneas rearrange four songs from Hit Me Hard And Soft, highlighting new string and new choral arrangements. Interviews are intercut between performances, which illuminate the songwriting process and creative decisions behind these new arrangements.

“Songline offers an opportunity for artist songwriters and their collaborators to showcase their songwriting process, detail their artistic journey and reveal the stories behind songs typically hidden away in studios,” said Tom Winkler, head of publisher, songwriter, and society relations at Amazon Music.

“By placing songwriters and their craft at the forefront of culture, fans can learn how their favorite songs and records were made, driving deeper connection with their favorite artists.” Check out the whole series here.

Billie Eilish’s massive “Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour” is set to start in September, when Eilish will embark on her North American leg of the tour. That run will continue until the end of December.

The tour will continue in Australia starting in February of 2025, ahead of her European, U.K., and Ireland arena dates starting in April until late July.

During the tour, Billie Eilish will continue her long-standing partnership with environmental nonprofit REVERB on this tour, building on the success of previous efforts, which resulted in over $1 million donated to environmental, greenhouse gas reduction, and climate justice projects, more than 150,000 fan actions, and much more. Sustainability efforts on this tour will include reducing greenhouse gas pollution, decreasing single-use plastic waste, supporting climate action, and updating concession offerings to promote and encourage plant-based food options with Support + Feed.

Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft was written by Billie Eilish and FINNEAS, her brother and long-time collaborator, who also produced the album.

In a continued effort to minimize waste and combat climate change, the album was available across all physical formats in limited variants on release day, with the same tracklist and using 100% recyclable materials.
