Billy Corgan, the frontman of The Smashing Pumpkins, will perform at the 2026 Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Gala in New York City. The event is set for Thursday and will also feature performances from sombr, Steve Miller, Nile Rodgers, Johnny Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls, Brandi Carlile, Tamar Braxton, Gavin DeGraw, and actor Jeremy Renner.
This year’s inductees include Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS, Kenny Loggins, Alanis Morissette, and Taylor Swift. John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival will receive the Johnny Mercer Award. Corgan and sombr recently teamed up during a performance at Coachella in April, making this event even more exciting for fans.
