Billy Joel Confirms Final Madison Square Garden Residency Date

Billy Joel has confirmed the final date of his legendary residency at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

Per Joel’s website, the final residency show will take place on July 25, 2024. As previously reported, the final residency show will be his 150th career performance at Madison Square Garden.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Nov. 10 at 10 AM ET at Ticketmaster.com. Citi cardmembers will have the opportunity to take part in a presale for the show beginning Nov. 6 at 10 AM ET through Nov. 9 at 10 PM ET at CitiEntertainment.com.

The remaining MSG residency shows are as follows:

-December 19, 2023
-January 11, 2024
-February 9, 2024
-March 28, 2024
-April 26, 2024
-May 9, 2024
-June 8, 2024
-July 25, 2024

Per Ultimate Classic Rock, Joel said during a June 2023 press conference about the end of his residency, “I’m kind of flabbergasted that it lasted as long as it did. My team tells me that we could continue to sell tickets, but ten years … 150 shows — all right already!”

 

Guests at Joel’s Residency

Over the course of Joel’s residency at Madison Square Garden, there have been plenty of surprise guests. The latest guest was Kevin Bacon during Joel’s show in September.

As previously reported, the actor took to the stage and joined Joel on “The Entertainer” and “You May Be Right.”

Bacon took to Instagram and shared, “Last night I joined @billyjoel on stage at @thegarden for one of the most crazy, out-of-body experiences. Thank you to Billy, his team, and his fans for a fun night.”
