Billy Morrison Releases Title Track from His Forthcoming Album ‘Hollow’

Billy Morrison has just dropped a new song titled “Hollow,” which is the title track from his upcoming album. The guitarist for Billy Idol shared that the song reflects his past experiences of being homeless and struggling with heroin addiction. He explained that during that time, he often found himself begging for money on the streets. He would notice how people reacted to him, often crossing the street to avoid him, which left a lasting impact on him. “Hollow” is about his journey of slowly emerging from that difficult life.

The lyric video for “Hollow” is now available on YouTube. The full album, also called Hollow, is set to be released on August 7. It will feature another single titled “Becoming,” which includes contributions from Sully Erna of Godsmack and Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme. The album will also showcase guest appearances from notable artists like Marilyn Manson, Dexter Holland from The Offspring, Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses, and rappers Chuck D, B-Real, and DMC. Morrison’s previous album, The Morrison Project, came out in 2024 and featured a collaboration with Ozzy Osbourne on the track “Crack Cocaine.
