The Black Crowes have been nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and they’re excited about it! In a recent social media post, Chris Robinson shared that he and his brother, Rich, are “beyond excited and thrilled” to receive this nomination again. He added, “It’s a great honor to be included with such talented artists.”
Chris also talked about the nomination in an interview, mentioning that several artists are being nominated for a second or third time, which includes them. “To have friends in the same situation is fun,” he said. After nearly 40 years in the music business, he values the friendships and connections they’ve made with other artists who have also been nominated or won the award.
Although the Black Crowes didn’t get inducted last year, Chris remains “equally as excited” about this year’s nomination. “Just to be included and recognized is amazing,” he explained. “We see all the artists on the list, and it’s a big deal for us. Being nominated again feels incredible.”
If they do get into the Rock Hall, Chris said they’ll celebrate the band and everyone who has been part of it. He also gave a shout-out to their loyal fans, saying, “They’re the origin story; they’re the ones that breathed life into a lump of clay and then this happens.”
The Black Crowes are looking forward to what’s next, and fans can’t wait to see if they’ll finally get the honor they deserve!
