The Black Crowes will play a pair of shows at the House of Blues Las Vegas on November 18 and 19. The two gigs will continue the band’s ongoing 30th-anniversary celebrations for their debut album, Shake Your Money Maker. At both Las Vegas shows, the Black Crowes will play the album in its entirety, along with a set of songs from the rest of their catalog.
Tickets for both shows will go on sale on September 10 at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT. A band presale is currently live and wrap September 9 at 10 p.m. PT. Additionally, a Live Nation pre-sale will run from September 8 at 10 a.m. PT to September 9 at 10 a.m. PT.
The Black Crowes originally planned to mark 30 years of Shake Your Money Maker with a tour during the album’s actual anniversary year, 2020, although that was postponed due to COVID-19. The rescheduled 2021 trek kicked off in July and is set to wrap on September 25 in Bethel, New York. The shows have marked the Black Crowes’ first together since 2013.
Back in July, The Black Crowes joined forces with The Coda Collection to premiere Brothers Of A Feather, a new film celebrating the welcomed 2020 reunion of the Robinson brothers as well as three superb concert and studio performance programs which present the band at the peak of their power.
The partnership culminates today with the release of Brothers of a Feather, which captures Black Crowes founders Chris and Rich Robinson reuniting as a duo at an intimate, sold-out con-cert from San Francisco on March 6, 2020 — just prior to the pandemic shutdown. Never before seen in full, the intimate, stripped-down arrangements of Crowes standards such as “She Talks To Angels,” “Remedy,” and “Wiser Time” give the music’s lyrics and structures a welcomed new perspective.
Additionally, The Black Crowes have rescheduled their upcoming UK and Ireland tour for a second time due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, with the dates now firmed up for September 2022.
