Black Label Society Unveils New Album ‘Engines Of Demolition’ Featuring Tribute Track to Ozzy Osbourne

Black Label Society is set to release their new album, *Engines Of Demolition*, on March 27, with MNRK Heavy handling the distribution. The album features fifteen tracks, including a standout tribute titled “Ozzy’s Song,” written by Zakk Wylde in honor of Ozzy Osbourne. Wylde crafted the lyrics after Osbourne’s funeral in July 2025, inspired by the books in his library that celebrated Osbourne’s legacy. He mentioned, “I was looking at him while I was listening to the tunes, and then I just wrote the lyrics.”

Wylde had already completed the music before Osbourne passed away from a heart attack on July 22, 2025. He received the heartbreaking news from Jack Osbourne while on tour with Pantera.

The writing process for this album began in mid-2022 but took four years to complete. Wylde worked on the songs during breaks from touring, recording everything at his home studio, the Black Vatican. He wanted to ensure he had enough time to support the album properly.

This will be the band’s first studio release since *Doom Crew Inc.* came out in 2021. Fans have already heard four singles from the upcoming album, including “Name In Blood.”

Zakk Wylde first joined Ozzy Osbourne’s band in 1987 after sending a demo tape that changed his life. He has played on nearly all of Osbourne’s solo albums, including classics like *No More Tears* and *Ozzmosis*.

Black Label Society kicked off their North American tour on February 27 in San Antonio, with shows running through April 10 in Charlotte. They will also have a short leg of Southeastern dates in May and will tour the UK and Europe from May 28 to August 14.
