Vocalist Andy Biersack confirmed the band is 75% done writing new material to avoid another five-year gap.
Just months after releasing their seventh studio album, Vindicate, in May 2026 via Spinefarm Records, Black Veil Brides are already well into writing their next record. Speaking with Rock Sound at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky, vocalist Andy Biersack revealed that he and guitarist Jake Pitts have new material recorded and are roughly 75% finished writing the upcoming album.
Biersack noted that the band wants to maintain momentum and avoid another five-year wait, referencing the gap between 2021’s The Phantom Tomorrow and Vindicate. That previous delay occurred after Biersack scrapped a year’s worth of work on an uninspiring concept project before starting over. While writing for the new record is underway, the band has continued supporting Vindicate on the road, completing the second North American leg of its Vindicatour in September 2026.
