‘BLACKPINK: A VR Encore’ Set To Premiere On December 26

BLACKPINK has announced a virtual reality performance, “BLACKPINK: A VR Encore,” set to premiere on December 26. The full trailer is available now, and the show will debut at 5:00 pm PT exclusively in Meta Horizon Worlds, produced and directed by The Diamond Bros, in partnership with Meta. Check out the trailer below.

“Filming our upcoming VR concert in the heart of Seoul has added an extra layer of magic to this project. It’s where it all began for us, and being able to share this unique experience with our fans around the world feels incredibly special,” said BLACKPINK. “It’s great to break down geographical barriers with The Diamond Bros and Meta, bringing back the memory of ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]’ finale straight into your home.”

“BLACKPINK: A VR Encore” catapults fans right into the heart of Seoul, filmed at the “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]” finale show at the Gocheok Sky Dome. Fans are encouraged to grab their Meta Quest headset and get ready to be mesmerized by the energy of the world-famous K-pop superstars, BLACKPINK, sharing their global impact and celebrating the transcendent power of their music through their first concert in VR.

The concert will feature BLACKPINK’s most popular hit songs from the “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]” including “Shut Down,” “Pink Venom,” “How You Like That,” and more.

Attendees can RSVP on the event page here. If you’re not able to join the event when it starts, replays will be available until the end of January in Meta Horizon Worlds after the concert.

Last we heard from the BLACKPINK family was in October, when the group’s Jenny shared a live performance video for a jazz version of her latest solo single, “You & Me.” The pop icon shared the original version of the track on October 6 after premiering it on the group’s World Tour in 2022.
