Blink-182 Features Special Guests During Riot Fest Performance

Blink-182’s Riot Fest show turned into an exciting reunion when they welcomed former member Matt Skiba and Descendents’ guitarist Stephen Egerton to the stage. Skiba joined the band for “Bored to Death,” a song he wrote during his time with Blink-182. This was his second appearance with the band this year, having previously performed at their LA benefit show in February.

When Egerton took the stage, the band launched into “Hope,” a classic Descendents track they recently added back to their setlist. Blink-182 played a total of 21 songs, mixing old hits with new material. Fans enjoyed favorites like “The Rock Show,” “First Date,” and “All the Small Things,” which turned into a massive sing-along.

On the same day, Skiba’s main band, Alkaline Trio, also performed. They played their album Maybe I’ll Catch Fire in full, delighting fans with tracks like “Keep ‘Em Coming,” “Sleepyhead,” and “5-3-10-4,” which hadn’t been played live since 2015.

This show is part of Blink-182’s Missionary Impossible Tour. The festival continues with more acts lined up, including Weird Al Yankovic, Knocked Loose, Rilo Kiley, and Rico Nasty. Fans can still grab tickets to enjoy the rest of the weekend’s diverse lineup.
