FLORIDA’S BLOODBATHER UNVEIL GNARLY NEW SONG “DISAPPEAR” — LISTEN
Broward County, Florida-based metal band Bloodbather have shared the new song “Disappear.”
Listen to the sonically gnarly track here. Trust us — it leaves a mark.
“‘Disappear’ — it’s a repercussion, a response,” the band explains. “When someone reveals who they truly are and proves themselves unfit, unreliable, and undeserving, the only answer can be true emasculation.”
Bloodbather — Kyler Millo [vocals, bass] and Salem Vex [guitar, synths] — lace their airtight, distorted guitars and chugging, hardcore rhythms with menacing industrial textures. Formed in 2018, Bloodbather burned a path of their own right out of the gates with the independent EP Pressure. The EP amassed north of 370K Spotify streams as the group built its reputation by sharing the stage with everyone from Whitechapel and Carnifex to Of Mice & Men and Attila.
Bloodbather were praised by the tastemakers at Invisible Oranges as “swinging their music like a battle-axe into naysayer faces, living up to their namesake with flying crimson colors.” The band earned additional acclaim from SVBTERRANEAN, which proclaimed them “one of the newer bands to embrace and reformulate the angst-ridden, chunky metalcore of old, and one of the newer bands to do it right,” while New Transcendence stated “the purest energy seen from metalcore in years.”
Bloodbather signed with in 2019 and subsequently hit the studio in Tennessee alongside producer Tate Mercer [Better-Off, Chamber, Hampton]. Further information on the band’s forthcoming debut release will be announced soon.
Armed with a take-no-prisoners approach and a bruiser of a song in the form of “Disappear,” Bloodbather are clearly on the verge of becoming one of heavy metal’s next big things. The band will most certainly appeal to fans of Code Orange, Knocked Loose, and Vein.
