Brandon Flowers, the frontman of The Killers, has announced his new solo album titled *Thrasher*. This will be his third solo project and his first since 2015’s *The Desired Effect*. The album is set to be released on August 21. The lead single, “Plans,” will debut this Friday.
In a trailer for *Thrasher* available on YouTube, Flowers shares that the album will have a country music influence. He explains that as he has grown older, he has returned to the music of his father, which he refers to as “Country-Western.” He feels that the stories he tells resonate best within this American tradition.
