Brandon Flowers has released a new single called “Plans.” It is the first song from his upcoming solo album, Thrasher. The track leans into a country-influenced sound that Flowers has been teasing.
Flowers says he’s returned to the music his father loved and that the stories he wants to tell fit well in that American country tradition. Thrasher is set for release on Aug. 21. It’s his third solo album and his first in 11 years.
Flowers will start a U.S. solo tour in September. His band, the Killers, last released Pressure Machine in 2021.
