Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band kicked off their highly-anticipated 2023 tour in Tampa, Fla. last night (February 2.) It marked the band’s first tour in nearly six years.

Per Setlist.fm, the opening night setlist consisted of a 21-song setlist and a seven-song encore. Along with some of their biggest songs, the setlist featured a few tracks from 2020’s Letter to You and the 2022 covers album Only the Strong Survive. The latter album likely explains the expanded lineup of musicians on stage. Rolling Stone noted the E Street Band regulars were joined by four backup singers, a five-piece horn section and an additional percussionist. Altogether, an 18-piece band rocked the sold-out crowd inside Amalie Arena.
