BTS, Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny Win Big At 2021 American Music Awards

The 2021 American Music Awards aired live on ABC from Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater on November 21. Hosted by Carid B, the night saw grand performances from Zoe Wees, Olivia Rodrigo, Mickey Guyton, and more.

The big winner of the night was supergroup BTS who won all three of their nominated categories including Artist of the Year, Favorite Pop Duo or Group, and Favorite Pop Song for “Butter” which they performed on the main stage following an appearance with Coldplay for their collaboration “My Universe.”



Taylor Swift, though not present at the show, was awarded an American Music Award for Favorite Pop Album for Evermore and another for Favorite Female Pop Artist. She remains the most awarded artist in American Music Awards history with 34 wins. Later in the night, Rodrigo snagged an award for New Artist of the Year.

Bad Bunny, who also performed at the show, took home awards for Favorite Male Latin Artist and Favorite Latin Album for EL ÚLTIMO TOUR DEL MUNDO.
