Carrie Underwood has announced a raft of events to take place this week in the lead-up to the release of her new album, Denim & Rhinestones.
The country megastar and eight-time Grammy Award winner will release the new record on Friday (June 10) via Capitol Records Nashville.
Kicking off the week of celebrations will be an Official Fan Club Party, featuring two live shows at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry, tomorrow (7). The star will take over another venue in the Tennessee city later in the week when she holds a global, one-night-only livestream performance Carrie Underwood: LIVE from The Historic Bell Tower. Fans around the world will be able to tune into the gig at 8pm CT on June 9 via the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, the Amazon Music mobile app via Twitch and on Prime Video globally.
The Historic Bell Tower will also play host to The Denim & Rhinestones Experience, a pop-up exhibition with interactive photo installations, wardrobe displays, and a retail boutique celebrating the album’s music. It will be open to the public between June 10-12 – for more information visit Underwood’s official website.
Among the fan-focused events, Underwood will also make appearances on US national TV to promote the record, including stops at ABC’s Good Morning America and GMA3 on June 10 and NBC’s The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on June 14. In addition, she will also appear on Canadian and Australian TV, including interviews on Sunrise, The Today Show, The Project, and more.
The day after the release of Denim & Rhinestones, the musician will take to the stage at the Nissan Stadium to headline the 49th annual CMA Fest. Fans will be able to watch the performance later in the summer, when it is broadcast on ABC on August 3.
Meanwhile, Underwood will take her new record out on the road in North America this fall, kicking off a new tour in Greenville, SC on October 15. The dates will run until March 2023, with breaks in between.
Denim & Rhinestones was created in collaboration with David Garcia, who co-produced Underwood’s 2018 album Cry Pretty and 2021’s Grammy Award-winning album of gospel hymns, My Savior. Its lead single “Ghost Story” has already achieved great success, scoring over 42.5 million global streams and still climbing the charts.
