Courtney LaPlante, the frontwoman of Spiritbox, has just released a new song titled “Ties That Bind.” This track serves as the theme for the upcoming video game 2XKO. The song combines LaPlante’s powerful vocals with the cinematic style of Riot Games, the developer and publisher of 2XKO. According to a press release, “Ties That Bind” creates a strong and anthemic sound that builds to an epic finale, perfect for gamers.

2XKO is a 2v2 fighting game that includes characters from League of Legends, which inspired the popular Netflix series Arcane. The game will be available in early access for PC starting this Tuesday.
In addition to her new song, LaPlante recently collaborated with Amy Lee from Evanescence and Poppy on a track called “End of You,” released in September. Fans can also look forward to seeing Spiritbox on tour in the U.S. this November, supporting their new album, Tsunami Sea.
