Des Rocs has just dropped a new song titled “When the Love Is Gone.” In a recent statement, he described the track as a “gut punch,” saying it reflects the pain of losing something that meant everything. He noted that while the riffs are aggressive, the song is rooted in vulnerable moments.
Des Rocs shared his thoughts on modern rock music, saying it can sometimes feel distant, like it’s coming from a high place. He believes that mixing rock with real pain and personal stories makes it resonate more than any heavy riff or breakdown. That’s the kind of music he aims to create.
“When the Love Is Gone” follows his previous single “This Land,” which was featured in the Borderlands 4 video game and is currently in the top 20 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.
Fans can look forward to seeing Des Rocs live, as he is set to kick off a U.S. tour in March. Stay tuned for more updates!
