Nothing More has just released a cover of Nine Inch Nails’ song “We’re in This Together.” This project has been in the works for over a decade, with the band starting to develop it 11 years ago.
Frontman Jonny Hawkins describes the song as “a love song colliding with a war cry.” He shares a thought from writer Alan Watts: “you are the universe experiencing itself.” Hawkins believes this song captures that idea, saying, “It’s us against the world, and this song is my inner monologue.”
The original “We’re in This Together” is from Nine Inch Nails’ 1999 album, The Fragile.
Nothing More’s latest album, CARNAL, is set to release in 2024. The band will also kick off a U.S. headlining tour in January, so fans can look forward to seeing them live soon!
