Dexter and the Moonrocks have released a new song titled “12 Steps,” featuring the country rock band Treaty Oak Revival. The band shared their excitement, saying, “We’ve always loved songs that blur the line between talking about a woman or schedule 1 narcotics. So we decided, why not write one?” They also expressed their admiration for Treaty Oak Revival, noting how cool it is to represent Texas together.
“12 Steps” comes after Dexter’s hit single “Freakin’ Out,” which is currently at #3 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart. This song is also Dexter’s first to make it onto the all-genre Hot 100.
Fans can look forward to seeing Dexter and the Moonrocks on their upcoming U.S. tour, which kicks off in June.
