Mike Patton, the frontman of Faith No More, has teamed up with folk band The Avett Brothers for a new project called AVTT/PTTN. They just released a new song titled “Heaven’s Breath.” Patton describes this track as a “bit heavier taste” of their upcoming self-titled debut album.
“Heaven’s Breath” is the second song from the album, following the lead single “Eternal Love.” Fans can look forward to the full album, which is set to drop on November 14.
In addition to this project, Patton will be touring with his other band, Mr. Bungle, in January. They will be hitting the road for a Latin America tour alongside Avenged Sevenfold.
As for Faith No More, the band is currently inactive, but fans can stay tuned for more updates from Patton and his various musical endeavors.
