Check out the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame fan vote winners before the induction reveal.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will announce its Class of 2026 inductees on April 13 during an episode of American Idol. Fans are eager to see if their favorite nominees from the online fan vote made the cut. Over 9 million votes were cast, and R&B group New Edition topped the leaderboard with just over 1 million votes. In 2023, they inducted The Spinners and performed in their honor.

Phil Collins came in second, receiving nearly 901,000 votes. He is already a Hall of Fame member as part of Genesis. Pink followed closely in third place with over 850,000 votes, while Shakira secured fourth with 738,000 votes. The late Luther Vandross was fifth, just shy of 733,000 votes. Australian rock band INXS ranked sixth, and British group Sade took seventh.

The top seven acts were highlighted because voting members could choose seven nominees. However, the fan vote winner is not guaranteed induction. All fan votes count as one ballot, combined with the 1,200 ballots from actual voting members of the Hall of Fame.

Here’s how the rest of the nominees ranked: Wu-Tang Clan at #8, Billy Idol at #9, Mariah Carey at #10, Lauryn Hill at #11, Iron Maiden at #12, Melissa Etheridge at #13, The Black Crowes at #14, Oasis at #15, and Joy Division + New Order at #16, with Jeff Buckley at #17.
