Halestorm has released a new video for their cover of Bad Company’s classic “Shooting Star,” featuring the band’s frontman, Paul Rodgers. This cover is part of the tribute album *Can’t Get Enough*, which honors Bad Company’s music. The video, now on YouTube, shows Lzzy Hale and Rodgers recording their parts from different studios.
In a Facebook post, Hale expressed her excitement about being part of the tribute album. She said, “Joining a tribute album for Bad Company is more than covering songs; it’s adding a brushstroke to a masterpiece that’s been a part of our DNA for decades. We wouldn’t be the Rockers we are today without these boys.”
The album *Can’t Get Enough* was released in October and features other artists like The Pretty Reckless, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, The Struts, Dirty Honey, Def Leppard, and Black Stone Cherry.
In other news, Bad Company was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2025. Although Paul Rodgers couldn’t attend the ceremony on November 8 due to health issues, he sent a video message that was played during the event. Lzzy Hale also made an appearance in a video montage honoring another inductee, Soundgarden.
Highlights from the 2025 Rock Hall induction ceremony will be featured in a special airing on ABC on January 1.
