Cody Jinks and Alice Cooper Release Collaborative Track ‘Moving Mountains’

Co-written with Bob Ezrin, the faith-driven single blends country and rock styles.

Country artist Cody Jinks and rock icon Alice Cooper released a new joint single titled “Moving Mountains” on Friday, Oct. 2, via Late August Records. Written by Jinks, Cooper, and producer Bob Ezrin, the genre-blending track centers on faith and perseverance, using tour preparation as a metaphor for preparing one’s soul. Sent to country, rock, and Christian contemporary radio stations, the collaboration originated after Cooper heard a rough demo and praised Jinks’ edge and songwriting ability.

The Fort Worth, Texas native described the release as one of the coolest collaborations of his career. Jinks, who previously released his album In My Blood last year and a deluxe edition this past July, is currently touring as a guest on Five Finger Death Punch’s 20th Anniversary World Tour through Oct. 23.
