About 660 locations across the country are joining in on this promotion, which comes after a dip in sales reported in early 2026.
Sarah Moore, Cracker Barrel’s Chief Marketing Officer, emphasized the restaurant’s role in holiday traditions, saying, “Santa has his sleigh, and Cracker Barrel has the Old Country Store.” This campaign aims to connect with customers through nostalgia.
In addition to the toy giveaway, Cracker Barrel is offering Meals for Two from Monday to Friday, starting at $19.99. This deal includes a shareable starter or dessert and two full-sized dishes, perfect for families watching their budgets. They’re also promoting Heat & Serve meals from December 21 to 28, making holiday hosting easier.
For dessert lovers, Cracker Barrel has pies like Apple Streusel and Pecan for about $14.49 each. Their holiday menu features breakfast items like Cinnamon Roll Pie and French Toast Bake, priced at $20.99 and $16.49, respectively.
On Christmas Eve, Cracker Barrel will close at 2 p.m. and stay closed on Christmas Day, allowing employees to celebrate with their families. This family-first approach sets them apart from some competitors. The restaurant will be decked out in festive decorations, creating a cozy holiday atmosphere. CEO Julie Masino mentioned that the campaign is a way to lean into the brand’s legacy and connect with customers during this special time.
