Ozzy Osbourne’s iconic song “Crazy Train” has made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, landing at No. 46 for the week of August 2. The track saw a massive surge in popularity, with 9.2 million streams in the U.S., marking a 194% increase from the previous week. It also gained 2.4 million radio audience impressions and sold 11,000 downloads, which is up 108% and an incredible 1,184%, respectively.
Another classic, “Mama, I’m Coming Home,” also re-entered the Hot 100 at No. 49. This power ballad received 8.7 million streams, 2.1 million radio impressions, and sold 15,000 downloads, reflecting week-over-week increases of 298%, 143%, and 899%.
Fans are clearly showing their love for Ozzy, as streaming numbers for both his solo work and Black Sabbath have skyrocketed. Ozzy’s monthly listeners jumped from 12.4 million to 18.7 million, while Black Sabbath’s listeners increased from 19.8 million to 24.6 million.
The top three most-streamed solo songs by Ozzy are “Crazy Train,” “No More Tears,” and “Mama, I’m Coming Home,” with additional streams of 8 million, 7 million, and 7.2 million, respectively. For Black Sabbath, the most-streamed tracks are “Paranoid,” “Iron Man,” and “War Pigs,” which gained 9.3 million, 6 million, and 5 million additional streams.
