Danzig is reissuing the 2010 album Deth Red Sabaoth. The reissue arrives Aug. 21 and will be available on CD, cassette, digital and vinyl. Several vinyl color variants are planned, including a “blood splatter horror swirl.”
Deth Red Sabaoth was Danzig’s ninth album and the first since 2004’s Circle of Snakes. It’s often called one of the band’s darkest, heaviest records. The most recent Danzig release was 2020’s Danzig Sings Elvis covers compilation.
The band will hit the road in the U.S. this September. Frontman Glenn Danzig is also directing a film version of his Hellmask comic, set for 2027.
