At System of a Down’s London show, guitarist Daron Malakian took a jab at Oasis. While introducing the song “Needles” at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, he joked that the song was about a tapeworm and said he would name it “Oasis.” He then sang a line that replaced the original lyric with “Pull Oasis out of your a.” Video of the moment was shared on his Instagram.
The tension dates back to remarks Noel Gallagher reportedly made about System of a Down years ago. Noel has a long history of public clashes, though he and his brother Liam have recently reunited.
System of a Down are touring Europe now with Queens of the Stone Age. They’ll return to the U.S. to headline Sick New World Texas in October.
