Dave Grohl joined Sepultura onstage in Los Angeles for a memorable performance. The Foo Fighters frontman played drums for the band during their final North American tour stop at The Wiltern. He rocked out on “Kaiowas,” a track from Sepultura’s 1993 album, Chaos A.D. Fans can catch the performance on YouTube.
This concert marked not only the end of the tour but also Sepultura’s last show in North America. The band is on a farewell tour, with their final performance scheduled for November 7 in São Paulo, Brazil. Metal Allegiance, featuring members from Dream Theater, Testament, and Mastodon, will also be part of the lineup.
Sepultura was formed in 1984 by brothers Max and Iggor Cavalera, though neither is currently with the band. Guitarist Andreas Kisser reached out to the Cavalera brothers to join the final concert, but they declined. However, former members Jean Dolabella and Jairo Guedz will be performing.
