Dave Grohl, Beck, & Tenacious D Perform Cover of ‘Summer Breeze’ a Charity Event

Dave Grohl took part in a fun and funny performance of Seals and Crofts’s hit “Summer Breeze” at a recent charity event.

The event was organized by director Judd Apatow to benefit Victims First, an advocacy group for victims and survivors of mass shootings. The “Summer Breeze” performance featured Beck, Tenacious D and actor John C. Reilly holding down the vocals. And Grohl? Well, he would walk onto the stage, sing the song’s guitar riff after the chorus and leave the stage. He would then come back for each subsequent chorus.

Video of the performance can be viewed below.

Grohl has been working his way back to performing gradually since the untimely death of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins in March. His first major appearance since Hawkins’ death took place in June when he joined Paul McCartney during his headlining set at Glastonbury.

The Foos have two major tribute concerts in memory of Hawkins scheduled for September.
