Dave Grohl Issues Statement on Foo Fighters’ 25th Anniversary, Hints at 2020 Plans

Dave Grohl, who celebrates his own birthday today (January 14), released a statement about the Foo Fighters‘ 25th anniversary.

Grohl’s statement reads as follows: “Holy Sh-t!!! 25 years?! Thank You guys for being with us year after year…for singing along & making every show the best night of our lives. We’re JUST getting started, so buckle up, 2020… it’s going to be an INSANE year full of some seriously crazy sh-t…”

The Foos’ self-titled debut album turns 25 on July 4.

As for 2020 being an “INSANE year full of some seriously crazy sh-t,” those plans will likely come in the future. The band currently has only five festival days on their touring schedule including Boston Calling and the Lisboa edition of Rock in Rio.
