Dave Grohl to Co-Host ‘The Tonight Show’ with Jimmy Fallon Monday Night

Dave Grohl is a regular on the small screen, and now, the Foo Fighters frontman is slated to co-host The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon tonight (May 24).

Grohl and Fallon will reportedly give the opening monologue together, plus interview comedian Jim Jefferies and musical guest Blake Shelton.

This isn’t Grohl’s first time hosting a late-night program. He stepped in for Jimmy Kimmel to host Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2017. Fans will recall Grohl dressing up as David Letterman for the Halloween night broadcast of Jimmy Kimmel Live, as a tribute to the Foos having performed on the series finale of The Late Show With David Letterman back in 2015.

Grohl is certainly keeping busy in 2021. Foo Fighters released their 10th studio album, Medicine at Midnight, back in February, and since then, Grohl has been involved with the new Paramount+ series From Cradle to Stage, as well as a new documentary from The Coda Collection called What Drives Us.

Grohl will also be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for a second time this fall, as Foo Fighters will be inducted in their first year of eligibility. Grohl was previously inducted into the Rock Hall with Nirvana.
