Mike Garson will host three special tribute concerts at The Sun Rose in West Hollywood on January 8, 9, and 10, 2026. These shows will mark 10 years since the passing of David Bowie and celebrate what would have been his birthday. Joining Garson will be guests like Billy Corgan, Chad Smith, Luke Spiller, Carmine Rojas, and Judith Hill. The performances are titled “Bowie’s Piano Man,” and each night will feature a unique setlist, with surprise guests possibly making an appearance.
Garson, who was Bowie’s pianist, expressed his excitement: “David Bowie was one of the closest people in my life. Nothing brings me more joy than honoring 10 years since his passing and his birthday with this all-star lineup.” These concerts also celebrate Garson’s 80th birthday and kick off a series of 10 new performances at the venue. He has been a regular at this intimate 80-seat space for years.
“I’ve toured the world with Bowie and played with artists like Smashing Pumpkins and Nine Inch Nails, but my shows at Live at The Sun Rose are among the best of my career,” Garson said. He began working with Bowie in 1972 and contributed to over 10 studio albums during their collaboration.
Tickets went on sale on December 15. VIP packages include three-show passes with reserved seating, meet-and-greet access, and photo opportunities. The Sun Rose is also offering hotel packages starting at $1,236 for a stay-and-show deal. A three-day VIP package starts at $4,069, which includes front-row tables, dinner credit at Merois restaurant, and a meet-and-greet on January 10. Guests can also enjoy a Moon Age Daydream Facial for $305 and order an A Lad Insane cocktail for $23 during the event.
