Dime GuitarZ has launched to offer signature guitars honoring the late “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott. Rita Haney, Dimebag’s longtime partner, and Dean Guitars founder Dean Zelinsky started the company as the exclusive home for official Dimebag Darrell guitars. The first models released are from Dime’s Culprit line.
“The mission is simple,” Haney said. “To build the guitars Dimebag Darrell would be playing today.” She noted that Dime played Dean Zelinsky’s ML guitars and had one in his arms when he passed away. “Dime’s innovation and trust in DZ’s brilliance guide this company,” she added.
Dimebag was tragically killed onstage in 2004 while performing with Damageplan. He was just 38 years old. For more details, check out DimeGuitarZ.com.
