Disclosure has premiered a new video for their song “She’s Gone, Dance On.” The single, released by the duo back in May, builds off of an Ennio Morricone composition Disclosure sampled from the 1978 film Così Come Se. It gained viral traction this year after Coachella, when a video of Taylor Swift, Ice Spice, and Travis Kelce dancing together to the track during a Dom Dolla set took off online. “She’s Gone, Dance On” debuted at No. 16 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
Directed by the Paris-based director Vincent Catel, the video for “She’s Gone, Dance On” also features a performance from French dance collective La Horde, who have worked with everyone from Sam Smith to Madonna. Before directing the visual, Catel had previously helmed video work luxury fashion houses like Hermés and Dior.
The release of “She’s Gone, Dance On” caps off a series of major headlining festival slots for brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence, including sets at Primavera, Parklife, and Glastonbury. Later this season, the duo is set to perform at Los Angeles’ HARD Summer, San Francisco’s Portola Festival, and Miami’s iii Points. During their Glastonbury set, they brought out Smith for a surprise performance of Disclosure’s 2013 breakout hit “Latch,” featured on their massively successful 2013 debut album Settle. In May, “Latch” reached a milestone of one billion Spotify streams.
The Lawrence brothers shared their most recent LP, Alchemy, in 2023. The album dropped the same year they celebrated 10 years of Settle with a special transparent orange double vinyl set featuring five additional tracks. That release marked the first time Settle and its bonus tracks appeared together on a single release.
